You are invited and encouraged to attend this auspicious ceremony to create a strong karmic connection with Rinpoche in this and future lives, and to create the causes for Rinpoche to return here to Kechara Forest Retreat swiftly.
The puja that will be performed is a Heruka Guru Puja, led by the esteemed lamas of our lineage. As part of the puja, you will partake of Tibetan tea, auspicious rice and tsok offerings.
You will each have the opportunity to make offerings of khatas, flowers, angpows, and other items that you may wish to offer to Rinpoche’s holy remains, and to make your prayers at Rinpoche’s throne.
According to monastic tradition, you can also make token monetary offerings (kuyong) to the monks performing the puja, as the Arya Sangha are one of the objects of refuge and a vehicle for collecting merit. If you would like to offer kuyong, please note there will be approximately 20 sangha members in attendance.
