With great joy, we would like to announce that His Eminence Tsem Rinpoche’s 7-ft statue has arrived in Malaysia. This is the final phase of the Tsem Rinpoche Relic Temple project, which will be fully completed in time for Rinpoche’s 4th Parinirvana Anniversary on Sep 4, 2023.
The culmination of this four-year project is a 49-day programme of auspicious ceremonies to mark the completion of this highly meritorious undertaking.
Highlights include a 1000-Offering Lama Chopa Tsog on Rinpoche’s parinirvana anniversary day, a Trakpo Sumtril initiation (registration opens mid August), and a three-day Rabney Chenmo ceremony to consecrate the newly completed Tsem Rinpoche Statue, as well as the Relic Stupas and other holy images in the Tsem Rinpoche Relic Temple.

These pujas were advised by Dorje Shugden via the Ven. 7th Panglung Oracle, recommended by high lamas, or instructed by Tsem Rinpoche himself prior to his parinirvana.
Visiting sangha from around the world will be performing these rituals in Kechara Forest Retreat — to accumulate great merits, clear huge obstacles, and create the causes to meet Rinpoche’s unmistaken incarnation soon.
The importance of the Guru’s parinirvana anniversary
The lama’s parinirvana anniversary is a precious opportunity for students to recall his kindness and compassion, and to rejoice in his enlightened deeds. It is also a time for students to contemplate on all that they have received from their lama and to generate a sense of gratitude.
