Sunday Dharma School
Give your child the chance to connect with Dharma from an early age, and you give them the keys to success in life. Regular attendance can help your child develop important life skills such as increased empathy, respect for others, self control and concentration.
Lessons combine a classroom format with arts & crafts, music, videos, discussions and games. Kids also learn basic Buddhist practices and simple mantras that can help them in their studies and life.
Level 1: For ages 7–11
As children get older, we introduce foundational Buddhist values and help them apply what they learn in their lives — how to develop gratitude and compassion, let go of anger and jealousy, and cultivate their amazing potential. The emphasis is on character building using the principles of Dharma.
Level 2: For ages 12–17
We help teenagers explore Buddhist concepts through interactive discussions on real-life situations — to help them cope with change, deal with challenging situations & difficult people, and learn the value of integrity, patience and perseverance. They are encouraged to share their opinions to develop their understanding and confidence. The emphasis is on nurturing our future leaders to become successful, kind and loving individuals capable of embracing all that life has to offer.
