The Chabtru Puja calls upon the blessings of Dorje Namjom, also known as Vajravidarana, to cleanse negative energy, purify body karma, and heal physical ailments such as paralysis, strokes and skin disorders. You are encouraged to attend this puja in person, to directly receive an individual water blessing.
The puja will be conducted by visiting Sangha from Shar Gaden, Serpom, Phelgyeling and Segyu monasteries, and led by His Eminence Kensur Rinpoche Jetsun Lobsang Phende and other high lamas and esteemed geshes.

Admission to the puja is free and all are welcome to attend. If you are attending, you may wish to offer kuyong (a token monetary offering) to the Sangha who will be conducting the puja.

Also known as Vajravidarana (Vajra Subduer), Dorje Namjom is a semi-wrathful form of the Bodhisattva Vajrapani. He is one of the Five Cleansing Deities and his ablution ritual (chabtru) is known for its healing and purifying effects.
