Inspired by H.E. Tsem Tulku Rinpoche’s enduring care for his students, the Kechara Care Team (KCT) was formed in July 2009. As a division of Kechara House (KH), the KCT plays a supporting role by ensuring that newcomers to KECHARA and Buddhism are well looked after.

The KCT want to cultivate a strong culture of care and responsibility within all of KECHARA’s departments. In caring for newcomers, the KCT also teach them the same nurturing roles so that eventually every single KH member is a Kechara Care Friend.

The KCT organise introductory activities to provide newcomers with accurate, reliable information about KECHARA and Buddhism, and guide newcomers as they take their first step onto the spiritual path. They encourage new members and friends to participate in the different departments, maintain contact with KECHARA members, and provide relevant information and updates.

If you are a newcomer and would like more information about upcoming events organised by the KCT, please email David Lai at  david.lai@kechara.com. Further enquiries can also be directed to May Ong at may.ong@kechara.com or call +6012 388 8589.
